Last summer, Amanda and Anthony stumbled over one another on a dating app, chatting and flirting a bit before meeting for a breakfast date. When these two met in person, sparks flew almost immediately: so much so that they lost track of time, and Amanda was late to meet a friend. She was in so much of a rush that, when walking backwards, she literally stumbled over a curb! Not to be outdone, Anthony was so distracted on his ride home that he drove in the complete wrong direction!

So, to say that these two liked each other instantly would be an understatement. Despite busy schedules, they stole away moments whenever they could: talking on the phone as Amanda drove home from her new job at a local library; sneaking in bites of pancakes for breakfast dates; and joining families together when Amanda, a single mom, had her children. The more time they spent together, the further in love they fell. Anthony proposed in front of Amanda’s family and friends on her birthday… and, obviously, she said yes… and that brings us to this gorgeous, unique wedding.

Amanda looked absolutely stunning in her tea-length gown: and, from these first look images, it’s obvious that Anthony agrees with me. Amanda’s daughters could also, quite possibly, win an award for sweetest flower girls in the history of weddings. As the couple said their romantic vows, they exchanged glow in the dark rings, officially making them the Coolest Couple Ever, with an added detail of rocking those converse during the reception.

Amanda and Anthony know how to throw a party: I am obsessed with the details! The seating cards were stamped with a customized wax seal, giving the venue even more of a classic, vintage feel. They married at the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center, located in Meriden CT. This beauty of a venue used to be an old Library. And, every single little detail in their wedding payed tribute to this. The book centerpieces made my geeky heart sing, and their wedding response cards were stamped library cards. And, of course, the unicorn cake from Sassy Mama Bakery was absolutely unforgettable.

I almost forgot: how could I not mention the goofy bridal party portraits?! Who knew there were so many James Bond impersonators in Connecticut?!

Amanda and Anthony were so so blessed to say their “I do’s” amongst those who love them so much. Congratulations, lovebirds!
